We are IAC2 mold certified and attend our local lab's mold-specific training. Because mold needs moisture to grow, controlling the source of moisture is key to controlling mold growth. We include a moisture intrusion inspection as part of our mold inspection package. The combination of a visual inspection, a thermal imager, and a moisture meter allows us to identify areas of concern that require attention to prevent mold growth. We then take a combination of air and/or surface samples in the areas we suspect to be worse locations on the property. Based on these findings and lab results, we provide a report that includes recommendations specific to you your situation.
